Summer in West Michigan would not be complete without a visit to the Hudsonville Community Fair! This beloved local tradition returns to the Hudsonville Fairgrounds from August 24–29, 2026, bringing six days of fair food, livestock shows, family-friendly entertainment and exciting grandstand events to Hudsonville, Michigan.


Known as the “Biggest Little Fair in Michigan,” the Hudsonville Community Fair has celebrated more than 90 years of family fun. Whether you are excited to ride the midway, explore agricultural exhibits, watch a rodeo or enjoy your favorite fair food, there will be something happening throughout the week.



2026 Hudsonville Fair Schedule Highlights


The official

includes dozens of events. Here are a few highlights to help you plan your visit:


Monday, August 24: Fair week begins with a dog show, a free reptile encounter, family comedy magic and the Market Lamb and Goat Show. The evening concludes with the Flying Star Rodeo at 7 p.m. 


Tuesday, August 25: Tuesday’s schedule includes rabbit, dairy and beef shows, Seniors Bingo, the Read & Win program and additional free entertainment. At 7 p.m., the grandstand hosts the Hudsonville Smash & Pass Finale: Twisted Trailer.


Wednesday, August 26: Visitors can watch donkey, mule, horse, poultry and hog shows before an action-packed evening. The Antique Tractor Pulls begin at 6 p.m., followed by the West Michigan Pullers and Mini Class at 7 p.m. The Scottsville Clown Band is also scheduled to perform that evening.


Thursday, August 27: Younger fairgoers can participate in the frog and turtle races beginning at 11 a.m. Kids must bring their own frog or turtle to participate. The day also includes the livestock sale, free entertainment and the Off-Road Derby at 7 p.m. 


Friday, August 28: Friday features the goat show, Draft Horse Cart Show, Super Showmanship competition and more. The evening lineup includes the SJO Motocross at 7 p.m. and a performance by The Williams Family Band.


Saturday, August 29: End fair week with the Open Speed Horse Show, free reptile encounters and comedy magic. Monster truck rides begin at 3 p.m., followed by the Monster Truck Show at 6 p.m. 


Midway Rides, Fair Food and Family Fun


The midway opens on Tuesday, August 25, and continues through Saturday, August 29. Tuesday is the fair’s special $2 ride day, with additional all-day armband options available throughout the week. Ride schedules, ticket prices and specials vary by day, so check the official fair information before heading out.


Of course, no visit to the Hudsonville Community Fair is complete without enjoying the food. Come hungry and make room for classic fair favorites while exploring the exhibits, animals, midway attractions and free entertainment.

The fair is held at the Hudsonville Fairgrounds, 5235 Park Avenue in Hudsonville. General admission is currently listed at $5 for guests ages 11 and older, while children ages 10 and younger receive free admission. Parking is also free, and evening shuttles are scheduled between the North Parking Lot and the fairgrounds. Grandstand admission is sold separately from general gate admission.
